About Miss Carilou....

Welcome to our website...miss carilou specialises in a wide range of one off bespoke gifts for weddings, anniversaries, occasions and for the home...a little about me...I have a love for all things creative, I live in the sunny seaside town of Hartlepool in the North East of England...I have studied a HND and a BA (hons) in textile design at Cleveland College of Art & Design...and loved it that much I have spent the last 15 years teaching all that I know in the same college...my love of selling art began many years ago by creating drawings and illustrations..these developed from my love of architecture and accessories, to creating one off framed pieces of family homes or favourite objects...being inspired by almost anything, I then looked around and found I was inspired to draw architecture and objects from travels and daily life....and sell these as contemporary framed prints and greeting cards...something I still do...however I like to have my finger in a few pies....

This brings me to a little bit about my my new products.....each piece is created with you in mind...each one is highly personalised from the size, the imagery, the message to the colour scheme of the fabrics your piece is created in.

Each one is lovingly hand created using freehand machine embroidery, applique, and hand embroidery...and if you wish a button or two...

Miss carilou the future?....who knows...I can see us broadening our sights to more 3D products and gifts...
